This is a documentary photography and film project about how the Ukrainians are managing to live in a war zone.

During the month of August I visited Kyiv and spent some time also in Lviv, exploring what life is like for ordinary Ukrainians living under the constant threat of war, bombs, drones and missiles coming from the sky, directed by the Russian army.
The project is not full of sensationalism and is more grounded in the everyday, looking at how the Ukrainian people are coping during war time.
